The Bay Reps Alumni Game formed in 2017 with the intent of bringing former players of the Bay Reps Varsity Hockey Team together for an annual alumni hockey game. Proceeds from the annual alumni game directly benefit the Bay Reps Varsity Hockey Team.  

In addition to helping fund team operations, the annual alumni game also benefits the Rick Deneweth Character Scholarship. Rick Deneweth was an active community member and passionate Bay Reps fan. Rick held the position of President on the Bay Reps Board of Directors. He strongly believed that the Bay Reps were becoming of an elite hockey program in the state of Michigan.

Leadership, work ethic, and character were three traits that Rick valued. The Rick Deneweth Character Scholarship awards a Bay Reps player who best exemplifies these traits.
